I am a Big Believer in recycling. So, I spend many hours stripping the plastic off of copper wire that I have found discarded at construction sites. I also use a rolling mill to flatten out pennies which I have in great abundance. Unfortunately, silver coins are made with nickel silver, or I would be rolling them out as well. Any silver in my work is Sterling (925) or Fine Silver (999) which I buy in sheet form. This is also true of the brass I use. The combinations of these metals create Wonderful Color Variations that I Greatly Enjoy! I hope you will as well.
