Yes there is even storage space inside the bench. I must say not bad for not having any drawn out plans, or former carpentry skills! Winging it sometimes works for me, though to be honest, I had to rebuild the skeleton of the bench a second time after the first try turned out not to be strong enough. The final had an overkill of supports on the inside to be sure anyone can sit on it.
